RNLI Support Centre To Relocate From Ballymoney To Coleraine After 15 Years
May 21, 2025
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has confirmed that its Support Centre will relocate from Ballymoney to new premises in Coleraine’s harbour area.
The announcement was made during a deputation from the Harbour Commissioners at the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council’s Leisure and Development Committee last night.
The move comes after fifteen years in Ballymoney, as the charity’s lifeguard service has outgrown its existing base. The new facility will offer expanded space for training, equipment maintenance and operational planning along the Causeway Coast.
An RNLI spokesperson said: “We are grateful to all involved in the move for their help and look forward to working with our new neighbours in Coleraine.”
