Plans Published For Proposed Footway And Cycle Track On Foreglen Road

The Department for Infrastructure has notified Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council of plans to develop a footway and cycle track along the B192 Foreglen Road.

The proposed route would run from Dungiven Bridge to the C157 Ballyhanedin Road.

In its correspondence, the department said the scheme is intended to promote active travel and would be constructed largely within the existing hard shoulder, footway and grass verge.

DfI has invited written comments on the proposal from councillors and has provided a location plan for consideration.
