Plans Progressing for Coleraine FC Community Celebration in Town Centre - 4th July 2026

Plans are continuing to take shape for a special community celebration in Coleraine town centre to recognise the recent success of Coleraine Football Club.

The proposal was initially brought before Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council by Alderman Mark Fielding and Councillor Tanya Elder. The initiative received the support of council members, allowing preparations for the event to move forward.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is leading the development of the celebration, working in partnership with Coleraine Connect and Coleraine Football Club.

The event is expected to take place on Saturday 4 July 2026 and will provide an opportunity for supporters, residents and the wider community to come together and celebrate the club's achievements.

Planning work is continuing behind the scenes, with organisers currently finalising the programme for the day.

While full details have not yet been released, further announcements are expected within the coming days.

It is anticipated that the celebration will bring football supporters and members of the wider community into Coleraine town centre for what organisers hope will be a memorable occasion.
