Plans Lodged For Six New Apartments In Heart Of Bushmills

Plans have been submitted to redevelop a site in the centre of Bushmills, with proposals for new housing close to the River Bush.

Seaport (NI) Ltd has applied for permission to demolish two vacant dwellings and construct a block of six apartments on land to the rear of numbers 89 to 93 Main Street. The site was previously known as 85B and 85C Main Street.

The application area lies immediately east of the River Bush, behind the existing buildings that front onto Main Street. It also sits directly south of a public car park, which already provides established vehicular access to the land.

The two dwellings currently on the site have been unoccupied for some time. Under the proposals, they would be replaced with a small apartment development, alongside new landscaping and on-site parking.
