Planning Application Submitted For Major Expansion Of Skerries Caravan Park

A full planning application has been lodged seeking approval for a significant extension to Skerries Caravan Park, which would see the addition of 154 new holiday home pitches.

The proposal includes associated amenity spaces, parking provision, and landscaping as part of a wider development to expand the site’s capacity.

The application follows a period of pre-application consultation, during which local residents and stakeholders were invited to review the plans and provide feedback.

An in-person drop-in event was held on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, where members of the public had the opportunity to view detailed display boards outlining the proposal. Representatives from the consultation team were also in attendance to answer questions and gather comments from those attending.

Feedback collected during the consultation process is understood to have informed the final planning submission now under consideration.
