Let’s Go Padel has announced plans to open a new padel venue in Ballymoney in early 2026, marking the latest expansion of the sport across Northern Ireland.

The company says the development represents a significant investment in padel locally and underlines its aim of making the sport accessible, inclusive and rooted in local communities.

The Ballymoney site will add to Let’s Go Padel’s existing network of venues in Carryduff, Ballyclare, the Crumlin Road, Omagh, Newry and Derry/Londonderry, with a further club also planned for Lurgan.

The new facility will be based at 10A Riada Avenue, Ballymoney, and will initially feature one double court and one single court. The company says this first phase is designed to offer a high-quality playing environment in a more intimate setting.

A second phase of development, scheduled for March 2026, will see the addition of two covered double courts. This is intended to increase capacity and allow year-round play, regardless of weather conditions. The covered courts will feature premium playing surfaces and layouts designed to support coaching, social leagues and competitive matches.

“Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and we’re seeing that enthusiasm mirrored locally,” said Pete Boyle, chief executive of Let’s Go Padel.

“The expansion into Ballymoney and Lurgan is a direct response to the growing demand for quality padel facilities. Our goal is to create vibrant hubs where people can discover the sport, improve their skills, and enjoy being part of a welcoming padel community.”
