North West 200 Presenter Stephen Watson Awarded MBE in King's Birthday Honours

Broadcaster Stephen Watson has been awarded an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours List 2026 for services to broadcasting, kidney transplant awareness and fundraising in Northern Ireland.
Mr Watson is one of Northern Ireland's best-known broadcasting figures and is widely recognised as the lead commentator for the North West 200, one of the world's leading road racing events. Through his work on television and radio, he has become a familiar voice to sports fans across the region.
The honour recognises not only his contribution to broadcasting but also his efforts to raise awareness of kidney transplantation and his fundraising work.
