Mall Car Park Named Venue For Armed Forces Beating Retreat

The Mall Car Park in Coleraine is set to play a central role in this year’s Armed Forces Day, with plans to host the beating retreat.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, 20 June, with more than 20,000 people expected to attend throughout the day, bringing a significant boost to the town and the wider Causeway Coast and Glens area.

Gatherings are expected to begin early in the morning at the Leisure Centre car park, where participants will assemble ahead of the main parade through the town centre, forming a key part of the day’s programme.

The full schedule of events is due to be released by the council in the coming days.
