Major Housing Proposal Submitted For Portrush

A significant new housing development could be on the horizon for Portrush, as a formal proposal of application notice has been lodged with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
The application, submitted by MJ McBride, outlines plans for a mixed-tenure residential development on lands south of Castleview Park and north of 204 Ballywillan Road. If approved, the proposal would see the construction of 125 new homes, comprising both social and affordable housing.
In addition to the residential units, the scheme includes associated infrastructure, landscaping, and a range of ancillary works designed to support a new community in the area.
