Lost and Found Coffee in Portstewart Applies for Alcohol Licence

Lost and Found Coffee in Portstewart has applied for a licence allowing it to sell alcohol as part of its restaurant operation.

Lost and Found Coffee Limited is seeking the licence for its premises at 3 Berne Road under the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.

The application would allow the retail sale of intoxicating liquor in connection with the provision of customary main table meals at midday or in the evening, or both.

The application is due to be considered at Coleraine Courthouse on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 10.30am.

Company directors David Lynas and Emily Lynas are listed as having executive control and a financial interest in the business.

The premises are owned by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, while Lost and Found Coffee Limited owns the business operating there.

The public notice states that planning permission is in place for the proposed use.

People who own, live in or operate businesses in the vicinity can object on grounds permitted under Northern Ireland licensing legislation. Notice of any objection must be served on the applicant's solicitors, Macaulay Wray, and the Chief Clerk within the required timeframe.
