Let’s Go Padel Expands To Ballymoney, Bringing The World’s Fastest-growing Sport To The North Coast
Mar 16, 2026
Northern Ireland’s rapidly growing sports-leisure sector sees further investment as Let’s Go Padel has officially launched its latest facility in Ballymoney. The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategic rollout of the world’s fastest-growing sport across the region.
The Ballymoney facility, which opened to the public on Saturday 7th March, represents the seventh location for the Let’s Go Padel brand, joining established hubs in Ballyclare, Carryduff, Belfast (Crumlin Road), Derry/Londonderry, Newry, and Omagh.
The initial phase of the Ballymoney development features one doubles court and one singles court. However, reflecting the high commercial demand for the sport, Let’s Go Padel has already confirmed Phase 2 investment plans to install two additional doubles courts later this year.
Pete Boyle, Founder of Let’s Go Padel, commented on the regional expansion: "Padel is currently a global phenomenon, and Northern Ireland is proving to be a high-growth market for the sport. Our goal is to create a network of accessible, community-focused hubs that cater to the increasing demand for social fitness. Bringing Let's Go Padel to the North Coast is a key part of our growth strategy, and we see immense potential in Ballymoney to build a strong, active membership base."
Often described as the “social cousin” of tennis, padel’s four-player format has made it a standout choice for those seeking a high-energy, interactive workout. The sport’s lower barrier to entry compared to traditional racket sports has been a key driver of its popularity, allowing players of all skill levels to enjoy competitive rallies from their very first game.
Let’s Go Padel Ballymoney hopes to introduce more people to the physical benefits, competitive excitement, and social side of the sport.
The new Ballymoney facility represents a significant addition to the North Coast’s sporting landscape. In addition to regular court rentals, the centre will offer professional coaching and structured group sessions, providing a dedicated space for both fitness and social connection within the local community.
Local residents and sports enthusiasts are encouraged to go along, try the courts, and be among the first to experience padel in the local Ballymoney area.
Lets Go Padel is located at 10 Riada Ave, Ballymoney BT53 7LH.
