First Twilight Market To Join Coleraine Christmas Lights Celebrations

Coleraine’s Christmas lights switch-on celebrations will feature a twilight speciality market for the first time this year, bringing festive shopping, entertainment and family-friendly activities to the town centre.

The Causeway Twilight Speciality Market will take place from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 27 November 2026, alongside the town’s annual Christmas lights celebrations.

Visitors can browse market stalls and enjoy entertainment and activities for families, with local shops also encouraged to open into the evening.

The event will be the first twilight market held by Causeway Speciality Market, adding an evening shopping opportunity to Coleraine’s festive programme.

Local retailers are being invited to take part through special offers, festive promotions, Christmas window displays or their own shopping events.

The council’s Town and Village Management Team has put together the new addition to the celebrations to create a lively and welcoming town centre.

The market will give visitors another opportunity to spend time in Coleraine and support local traders and businesses as the Christmas season gets underway.
