Northern Ireland’s newest five-star hotel, Dunluce Lodge has been awarded the prestigious honour of joining the Small Luxury Hotels of the World exclusive portfolio.
The Causeway Coast hotel becomes one of just 11 Irish hotels to feature in the global listing.
Small Luxury Hotels of the World individually visit, verify and vet every one of their 620 hotels in more than 90 countries. With just 50 rooms on average, these properties are able to offer secluded, discrete options with the highest standards of luxury and guest wellbeing.
Dunluce Lodge joins leading Irish venues such as The Dylan Hotel in Dublin, Ballymaloe House Hotel in Shanagarry and The Montenotte in Cork. It becomes only the second Northern Ireland hotel to be included in the portfolio, alongside The Culloden Estate & Spa outside Belfast.
With 35 luxury suites, fine dining, a wine vault, spa, and private lodge for larger groups, Dunluce Lodge combines authentic Irish character with international standards of luxury. It also hosted golfing icon, Rory McIlroy during this year’s Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
With an onsite putting green and complimentary private transfers to the nearby helipad and to the clubhouses at Royal Portrush and Portstewart Golf Club, Dunluce Lodge is a paradise on the iconic Causeway Coast.
The hotel is operated by global full-service management company, Valor Hospitality who are celebrating a double after another of their properties, Seaton House was also included in the portfolio.
Seaton House, a five-star hotel located just yards from the 18th green at the iconic Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland becomes the first hotel in the famous town to join this exclusive portfolio.
With 42 luxury bedrooms, including six stunning suites and three junior suites, Seaton House offers a range of dining options, curated by acclaimed Chef Patron Roy Brett, across its bar and restaurants, The Board Room and Ondine Oyster & Grill.
