Crowds Flock To Coleraine For First National Brick Events Weekend
Oct 17, 2026
Crowds have flocked to Coleraine for the opening day of a LEGO event featuring intricate brick-built displays, creative exhibits and family entertainment across three venues.
National Brick Events began its two-day programme on Saturday, bringing enthusiasts, collectors and families to Coleraine Leisure Centre, Coleraine Town Hall and the Event Space Marquee.
The weekend marks two firsts for the organisation: its debut on the island of Ireland and its first two-day event across three separate venues.
Visitors have explored a range of brick-built creations, with displays showcasing the imagination, patience, and skill involved in turning familiar pieces into impressive models.
Alongside the exhibits, the programme includes activities and family entertainment, offering plenty of inspiration for builders of every age.
Experienced enthusiasts can take a closer look at the creations and find ideas for future projects. Younger builders and families can also enjoy the displays and explore LEGO's creative possibilities.
The event continues on Sunday, 18 October, giving those who missed the opening day another opportunity to attend.
Doors open from 9am to 4pm, with displays and activities across Coleraine Leisure Centre, Coleraine Town Hall and the Event Space Marquee.
