Coleraine Market To Host Giant Taste Celebration

Cookery demonstrations, tasting sessions and independent traders will feature in Coleraine town centre on Saturday 10 October as Causeway Speciality Market hosts its Giant Taste celebration.

The event will give visitors the opportunity to sample local produce, discover new flavours and browse food and craft stalls throughout the day.

Chef Stevie McCarry, of Lir, will lead cookery demonstrations and taster sessions, preparing dishes and sharing his expertise with those attending.

Further tasting sessions will showcase a range of local flavours and produce, alongside stalls run by independent businesses.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Coleraine’s shops and support town centre businesses during their visit.

Motorists and traders are being advised to plan ahead for road closures associated with the event.

Closures will extend from Church Street, at the junction of Park Street and New Row, through to Bridge Street. All side roads along the affected route will also be closed.

No vehicle movement will be permitted in the Diamond area between 9am and 5pm. Businesses are being encouraged to allow additional time for deliveries and make arrangements for essential access ahead of the closures.
