A community history event exploring Coleraine's heritage is set to take place at the town hall later this year.

The event, titled Coleraine Rewind, will be held on 14 May, with doors opening at 7:30pm ahead of an 8pm start.

Organisers say the evening will offer an engaging look at the town’s past, bringing together local knowledge and expert insight.

The session will be co-hosted by Sandra Marie of Coleraine Rewind, alongside historians Dr Bob Curran and Ronnie Gamble. Causeway Coast and Glens Museum Services will also support the event, contributing historical expertise and resources.

Attendees can expect a series of talks and discussions covering stories and developments from across the region’s history.

Organisers say the event is aimed at both history enthusiasts and those with a general interest in the area’s past, with a focus on making the content accessible and informative.

Guests will be welcomed on arrival by the hosting team, with tea, coffee and light refreshments provided.

The event is open to members of the public, who are encouraged to attend with “a fun attitude and curious mind”.
