Coleraine Future Town Fund Launch Event – 18th June At Northern Regional College

On Wednesday, 18 June 2025, from 12:00 to 14:00 BST, the Northern Regional College, Union Street, Coleraine (BT52 1QA) will host the official launch of the Coleraine Future Town Fund Engagement—a major step in a new, community-led initiative to shape the town’s future.

This launch marks the beginning of a £20 million investment journey under the UK Government’s Plan for Neighbourhoods, with Coleraine selected as one of 75 towns across the UK to benefit. The funding will be delivered over the next ten years, focused on creating thriving places, stronger communities, and helping people take back control of local priorities.

The event will:

• Outline how local voices will influence future regeneration projects

• Introduce a wide-ranging programme of community engagement from June to September

• Celebrate the start of a more connected, vibrant, and inclusive Coleraine

A light lunch will be provided, and all are welcome—whether you're a resident, young person, business owner, student, or simply care about the town’s future.

The initiative is being led by the Coleraine Future Town Fund (CFTF) Neighbourhood Board, in partnership with Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council, the accountable body for the programme. The Board brings together local representatives, community groups, public services, and cultural organisations to ensure the plan reflects the community's priorities.
