Coleraine Boutique Prepares To Celebrate 11 Years In Business

An independent Coleraine fashion boutique is preparing to celebrate a major milestone this month, marking 11 years in business.

Daisy Mae Boutique, now based at 23 Kingsgate Street, first opened its doors in 2015 with support from The Prince's Trust (now The King's Trust) and Causeway Enterprise Agency.

Founder Marianne took a leap of faith when she launched the business, despite having no prior experience in a retail environment.

More than a decade later, that decision has paid off, with Daisy Mae becoming a familiar name among shoppers across the Causeway Coast and beyond.

Throughout its journey, the boutique has carved out its own identity by offering something different from mainstream fashion trends, focusing instead on cute, quirky and individual pieces that reflect its unique personality.

That approach gained wider recognition in 2023 when Marianne was named "Most Inspiring Woman in Fashion" by Local Woman Magazine. Judges praised her for continuing to push boundaries within Northern Ireland's fashion industry and for building a distinctive brand that stands apart from the crowd.

The business is also celebrating one year at its current Kingsgate Street premises, having relocated there in 2025.

To mark both milestones, Daisy Mae Boutique will host an 11th Birthday Party and Start of Summer Bash on Saturday, 27 June.

The celebration will include an in-store DJ, refreshments and treats for customers throughout the day. The store will open from 10am, with music beginning at 11.30am.

Speaking ahead of the celebrations, Marianne said she was grateful for the support the business has received over the past 11 years.

"Starting Daisy Mae was a huge leap of faith. I had never worked in retail before, but I believed there was room for something a little different. The support from our customers over the years has been incredible and we're looking forward to celebrating with everyone on 27 June."

The event will take place at Daisy Mae Boutique, 23 Kingsgate Street, Coleraine.
