Coleraine BID Renews Digital Marketing Initiative For Second Term Following New Agreement

Press Release: A digital marketing initiative supporting businesses across Coleraine has been renewed for Coleraine BID’s second term, following a new agreement signed on 17 November 2025 with Triovia, the Coleraine-based company that operates the Explore Causeway Coast & Glens platform. The renewal comes as the BID moves into the second year of its second term.

The scheme, delivered through Explore Causeway Coast & Glens, which is recognised as the Borough’s largest destination and commerce publication, supported local businesses in the last year of the first term of the BID.

A temporary service interruption occurred during a period of leadership changes within the BID during the first year of the second term.

Its renewal now means levy payers will receive complimentary access until the end of November 2026, reinstating and continuing the digital support that members voted for in the Business Plan.

Under the renewed arrangement, businesses can submit two articles and two promotional social media posts each month. These will be published across Explore Causeway Coast & Glens’ Facebook and Instagram channels, which have a combined following of more than 130,000 followers.

Members will also be able to promote unlimited events, which are featured every Sunday and Wednesday across the platform’s social media pages to help increase visibility and engagement.

The initiative includes access to a private online business community, along with a tailored landing page for each business within a search-optimised directory. Businesses can also submit unlimited job postings, which are promoted through the “My Causeway Coast” Facebook group, home to more than 30,000 local members.

Explore Causeway Coast & Glens has confirmed that existing memberships will be automatically extended, ensuring continuity as the initiative continues into the second year of the BID’s second term.

A representative from Coleraine BID will contact levy payers in the coming days to explain how they can access the service and make full use of the support available.
