Coffee Roastery Plans Submitted For Coleraine Industrial Estate

Plans have been lodged for a new coffee bean roasting facility with a café and tasting area in Coleraine.

The proposal, submitted by Lost & Found Roasters, would see the creation of a roasting plant at 48 Cloyfin Road, within an existing industrial estate.

According to the application, the site would be used primarily to roast beans for supply to local cafés and coffee shops. A smaller element of the project would include a tasting area, offering visitors the chance to sample blends on site.

The development would consist of a single industrial-style building positioned to the rear of the plot. At the front, 26 dedicated car parking spaces are planned, including one disabled bay, alongside five Sheffield-style bike stands.

The applicants describe the project as a “sustainable, low-impact” addition to the local economy, which would create employment while making efficient use of existing industrial land.

Planning documents state the facility is compatible with local and regional policy, particularly in terms of zoning, use class and economic benefit.
