Causeway Speciality Market To Mark 20 Years With Anniversary Event In Coleraine

Causeway Speciality Market will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a special one-off event in Coleraine town centre.

The market, which has been running since 2006, has grown into Northern Ireland’s largest regular outdoor speciality food and craft market, drawing visitors from across the region to The Diamond area of the town.

Organisers have confirmed that a dedicated anniversary market will take place on Saturday, 11 April 2026, surrounding Coleraine Town Hall.

Over the past two decades, the market has become a regular fixture in the town centre calendar, hosting up to 50 traders on market days. It is best known for its mix of local food producers, artisan makers and craft traders, many of whom are small, independent businesses from across the north.

The market has also been credited with helping to increase footfall in Coleraine on market days, bringing visitors into the town centre and supporting nearby shops, cafés and hospitality businesses.

The anniversary event is expected to include additional traders, special features to mark the milestone and a celebratory atmosphere reflecting the market’s 20-year history and continued development.
