Brunch It Prepares To Celebrate Two Years In Business In Coleraine

A popular Coleraine café is preparing to celebrate a major milestone next month as Brunch It marks two years in business.

Located on Church Street in the heart of the town centre, the café has become a well-known destination for breakfast, brunch and lunch since opening its doors in 2024. Over the past two years, owners Stevie and Ciara Friel have built a loyal customer base, welcoming thousands of customers through the doors and establishing the business as a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

The milestone comes during a period of continued growth for the family-run business.

In October 2025, the couple expanded their offering with the launch of Top Darts on the first floor of the building. The entertainment venue introduced a new leisure attraction to Coleraine town centre, helping to bring additional footfall into the area during the evenings and attracting visitors throughout the weekend, particularly on Sundays.

The investment has not only diversified the business but has also contributed to the wider town centre economy by encouraging people to spend more time in the area and supporting neighbouring businesses.

Speaking ahead of the anniversary celebrations, Stevie Friel said the milestone was one they were proud to reach.

"It's hard to believe we're already preparing to celebrate two years in business. When we first opened Brunch It, our goal was to create a welcoming place where people could enjoy great food and good company. The support we've received from customers has been incredible and we're genuinely grateful to everyone who has walked through our doors over the past two years."

Ciara Friel said the decision to expand with Top Darts had been an important step in the business's journey.

"Opening Top Darts last year was another exciting step for us. We wanted to create something different for the town centre that would encourage people to stay longer and visit during the evenings and weekends. Seeing families, friends and visitors enjoying both businesses has been really rewarding. We're proud to be investing in Coleraine and we're looking forward to what the future holds."

Like many independent businesses, Brunch It has faced its share of challenges since opening. However, the continued support of customers and the local community has helped the business grow from strength to strength.

As the second anniversary approaches, Stevie and Ciara are preparing to mark the occasion and thank the customers, staff and supporters who have played a role in the success of both Brunch It and Top Darts.
