Ballymoney Pub Could Be Replaced With Apartments
Sep 23, 2025
Plans have been submitted to Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council to demolish the Bush Tavern on Market Street, Ballymoney, and build five two-bedroom apartments on the site.
The scheme would include parking and amenity space to the rear, with access from a central entrance lobby. Seven parking spaces – including one accessible bay – and cycle storage are proposed.
A planning statement says the development would provide “much needed residential accommodation” and reflects nearby schemes on Market Street, Café Lane and John Street, which extend up to four storeys.
Council planners will now consider the application.
