Sizzling Search: Help Crown Co. Derry/Londonderry's Best Fry!

Do you know your smoked rashers from your streaky bacon? How about your classic bangers from an organic sausage?

Coleraine Business Improvement District has launched an exciting quest to find the best fry in 2024, and they need your help!

The iconic Ulster Fry, a beloved staple of our region, includes crispy soda bread, golden fadge, bacon, sausage, pancake, and optional extras like beans and black or white pudding. But who makes the best one in Co. Derry/Londonderry? That’s where you come in.

Public nominations are now open, inviting everyone to nominate or vote for the best fry in three tantalizing categories:

1. County’s Best Tasting “CLASSIC” Ulster Fry
2. Best Tasting Fry Using Local Produce (County Heat winner will represent Coleraine Business Improvement District at the 2024 Ulster Fry World Championships in August)
3. County’s Best “Healthy Option” Ulster Fry

This is your chance to spotlight your favourite local chefs and eateries. Whether it’s a cherished family-run café or a bustling new restaurant, make your voice heard and support your community’s culinary talent.
